Mr. Moddassir Khan Nayeem obtained his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Production Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology in Bangladesh. Afterward, he obtained a degree of Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Pusan National University of South Korea. He worked as a research assistant in the Engineering and Computational Laboratory (ECOLAB) during his master’s degree.

Apart from research assistantship, Mr. Moddassir Khan Nayeem worked as an Editorial Assistant of the International Journal of Industrial Engineering: Theory, Applications and Practice (IJIETAP). Following those experiences, after completing his master’s degree he joined in the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering of American International University- Bangladesh as a lecturer.
